The Yarn Garden opened for business October 14, 2006. The shop is located  in  the  heart of the historic  district of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, at 52 West Pomfret Street. The Yarn Garden features a veritable “garden” of colors and specialty yarns. During warmer months you may even find our customers knitting in the tranquil garden of our back patio.

The Yarn Garden carries many beautiful and unusual yarns with interesting textures and exquisite colors. Cozy, calming, and inviting are words customers use to describe the shop. The array of beautiful yarns inspires the experienced knitter’s creativity and entices the non-knitter to want to learn how to knit.
